This is a sanctioned Kansas City Barbeque Society* FOUR Meat Contest!
$10,000 in cash prizes, plus trophies. This is the largest payout ($10,000) remaining in scheduled events in Northern California!
BBQ teams and judges can receive a $59.99 room rate at the Konocti Vista Casino hotel. Call ahead to reserve a room and tell hotel reservations desk that you are a participant or a judge to receive that rate. We expect to sell out the hotel for this weekend so make your reservations early.
Early bird entry (less $50) ends July 15.There is still time to get your application in by July 15. Call the casino number 707.262.1900 x1135 and talk to Darlene (casino accounting office). She will fill out your application and take your credit card information over the phone. It is safe and easy.

$10,000 total in prizes, plus trophies including People's Choice trophy. All money prize winners receive a voucher that they can immediately walk over to the casino cage window and pick up the cash. Fast and easy no waiting for a check!
50/50 Split on People's Choice will be paid out to the teams on the same day following the event. 50% of the People's Choice funds will be matched by the casino and go to local Lake County schools.
Konocti Vista Casino is devoting their entire 74 space RV Park to the BBQ event participants and associated event vendors.

*THE KANSAS CITY BARBEQUE SOCIETY (KCBS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and enjoying barbeque, is the world's largest organization of barbeque and grilling enthusiasts with over 13,000 members worldwide.
KCBS sanctions almost 300 barbeque contests coast-to-coast throughout America. From volunteering to actual event production, our members also offer assistance to civic and charitable organizations who organize events.
**CBBQA Team of the Year (ToY) is an annual "points" race under which CBBQA member teams compete in overall and specific meat categories. The winners of the annual contest are the Team(s) with the most points at the end of each year in the overall and each of the categories. In addition, there is a Rookie of the Year race in which new teams also compete.
